Product Description

A versatile chalkboard kit designed to help children see that maths is everywhere!

Help children see that maths is everywhere! In the kitchen, at the supermarket, eating out, travelling into town, or walking home from school; we use maths in so many ways every day. With this bright and colourful, open-ended chalkboard kit, you will be able to sprinkle purposeful play indoors and out. Use chalk or chalk pens to create endless lesson prompts. Maths Chalkboard Kit includes five A3 chalkboards, plus four signs. Made from hardwearing, weatherproof material, these chalkboard can be hung up inside or outside. Easy wipe clean, means you can use them over and over and over again.

MENU: What’s on the menu today? Have you got enough money to choose everything you want to eat? How much will you have left? Can you pay for your friend? Which is the cheapest lunch? Can you arrange them in order?

TIMETABLE: Which bus will you catch? There are three to choose from, one will get you there too early, one will get you there too late and one (as Goldilocks said!) is just right! Can you work it out?

RECIPE BOARD: Let’s make up our own recipe for our favourite pizza in the mud kitchen or maybe in the real kitchen.

SHOPPING LIST: What do we need to buy? All the things on the shopping list – how much will they cost?

SIGNS: Why not add some directions and speed limits in the playground. Maybe create a treasure trail following the signs. And, of course, they are perfect for mark making so you can just supply the chalk and let children create their own play.
